What is 2nd doing to Continue Meeting for Worship?

Our goal at 2nd Baptist Church is to keep our doors open to worship, grow and serve. Hopefully, working together, this will be a reality even during this season of uncertainty. Staff and deacons have developed the following guidelines and recommendations. However, we will make adjustments as needed if the number of cases increase,
and communicate this information to the church.

Before, After, & During Worship:

Face-masks are extremely encouraged while walking to and from worship and small group.
Maintain a distance of 6 ft or more as much as possible.
Seat your household at least 6ft from others; if space becomes limited, consider wearing your mask at all times if you are seated within 6ft of others.
Abstain from handshakes, hugs, & high fives (“hello”s are still allowed 😀).
Wash and/or sanitize your hands when possible (sanitizing stations are available at most entrances).
A Livestream of the service will be available in the FLC and online (see below).

During Small Groups:

Face-masks are encouraged during small group meetings, especially if unable to physically distance.
If space and number of members of your group make physical distancing possible, do so.
If space and number of members of your group make physical distancing impossible, consider meeting at a different day/time in order to use a larger room.
Maintain an accurate attendance record with contact information (so that if a member of your group becomes ill, all members of the group can be contacted and made aware).

If you or someone in your home is not feeling well, showing any cold or flu-like symptoms, have tested positive for COVID19, or have been in close contact with someone who has, please stay home and worship with us online at 2ndbc.tv/watch or click “Watch Online” at 2ndbaptistchurch.net

“Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble” (1 Peter 3:8).
