Women’s Ministries

M.O.P.S.
We want to encourage mamas in all walks of life. MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) International encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women, and leaders, in relationship with Jesus and in partnership with the local church. Our MOPS group meets every 4th Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. At this time, no childcare is provided. Come fellowship with us, get to know other sisters in Christ, and encourage one another as we disciple our children and grow as Christ-followers.

Operation Christmas Child
Partnering with Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelical Association, 2nd Baptist is honored to prepare Shoe Boxes for Operation Christmas Child each year. Led by Alisa Fleming, ladies (and men) collect items all year, host a Packing Party for the children’s ministry and volunteer in the Collection Center during National Collection Week in November.
