    Not in Vain
    “Not in Vain"
    1 Corinthians 15:1-11, 56-58

What effect has the Gospel of Jesus Christ had on our lives?

THE GOSPEL has changed our lives.
    1. Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures
    2. He was buried
    3. He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures
    4. He appeared to many people.

THE GOSPEL has changed our purpose.
    1. Stand firm
    2. Let nothing move us, and
    3. Always give ourselves fully to the work of the Lord.

Why do we give ourselves fully to the work of the Lord?

Our labor in the Lord is
    not in vain
    .

    "Famous Last Words: Paradise"

How can we be with Jesus in paradise?

    Confess
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9).

"That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9).

    Request
" “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." (Matthew 7:7-8).
